Christmas at Arlington 2024!

The 2024 holiday season was filled with joy! We kicked off the festivities with the announcement of our “giving tree.” This was something we had done in the past, but not in recent years. Our activities department created a tag on the giving tree for every resident including information like their clothing size and interests. Staff, families, and community members were all encouraged to “adopt-a-resident” so to speak to buy a gift for them to receive at our annual resident Christmas Party.

The fun continued into the month with our annual dessert party. This party is a time for our resident’s families to join us for a night of music and sweet treats! We had 6 different types of pie, numerous types of cookies, and a house-made gingerbread cake. Everyone was free to get as much or as little as they desired. Haley was our entertainer for the evening, and she even got the crowd involved by inviting them to karaoke Christmas carols.

The month culminated in the celebration held at our resident Christmas party. We had an amazing response from the community in helping to “adopt-a-resident” and make this a special season for everyone who calls Arlington Care Center home.
