Recognizing Our Social Workers

March is National Social Work Month! We'd like to take this opportunity to recognize our Social Worker, Violet Rollins, and Social Work Designee, Brandy Palm! These two do so much for our facility, and we are so lucky to have them as part of our team.
Violet is a very busy and hard-working asset to the Arlington team. She is currently working on receiving her Master’s degree in Social Work and has been working very hard to accomplish this goal. She primarily works with our short-term rehabilitation residents and assists families with discharge plans by making referrals to home health companies or assisted living facilities, ensuring that home medical equipment has been ordered as well.
When asked what she loves about her job, Violet shared,
"I became a social worker so that I could help others on a broader level. I pride myself on being a positive support for the residents and families that I serve. I'm also proud to be able to say that I'm employed at the facility that was voted the Best in Licking County."
We love the positive outlook on life that Brandy shares with her co-workers and residents alike. Brandy primarily works with our long-term care residents and assists them with ancillary services like our dentist and audiologist. Brandy loves spending time with her family and extended family, her chickens!
When we asked Brandy what her favorite part about her job is, she shared,
"I am always trying to look on the positive side of things. I enjoy bringing smiles to residents' faces."
